John 12:23-25a NIV 2011

Jesus’ words to his mother in John 2:4 gave her perspective on His purpose, “‘Woman, why do you involve me?’ Jesus replied. ‘My hour has not yet come.’” He told the disciples He would be glorified and complete His mission. Slipping off the throne and placing Him there happens day-by-day. I strive to daily walk in His power, dying to self.
