John 3:16, 15:13 Romans 5:8 KJV

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were sinners Christ died for us.

God gave the world the best Valentine, Jesus Christ. To receive eternal life, all one needs to do is believe that Jesus died for the sins of everyone. Jesus is a friend to all who believe in Him. Jesus’ love was so great that he willingly gave His life for those that believe His death atoned for their sin. God created man in His image. Adam and Eve chose to sin condemning all to death. Jesus Christ came to save sinners and offers everlasting life to all who believe in Him.

My husband and I decided we would not exchange Valentines this year. We spent time together and went to a movie. Stopping at Costco on our way home I was shocked at the amount of people purchasing roses, chocolate covered strawberries and seafood for dinner. We were given the greatest Valentine, Jesus, over two thousand years ago and yet people daily still miss that Truth. We chose to spent time with each other, not exchange cards. Christ came to save all sinners.

What ways will we share God’s Valentine today?

Christ’s saved sinners,

  1. Amazing — the first day of Lent. We are doing a one day fast with the church. It is always good to be with community when doing something out of our comfort zone !! Tonight we go back to church to break the fast.
Yes, people still buy roses and candy but I think it’s rather nice — at least one way to say “I love you” when you can’t in other ways.
Take care, my friend. I hope the movie was good. Be safe in this very broken world!
    Hugs, i
