Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:13-14 NIV 2011
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Each letter of Paul reveals redemption as God’s perfect plan. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Believers are justified by faith Jesus. Romans 3:24, “and all are justified freely by his grace through redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Acts 26:18 reveals sinners’ eyes are opened to the Light, they receive forgiveness and are sanctified by their faith in Jesus. The pathway for any person to redemption comes through faith in Jesus Christ.
A conversation about redemption today led to the book of Ruth. One of my favorite books is a short story of God’s redemption. Ruth’s redemption led to the redemption of mankind through Jesus Christ. She’s the perfect example to share with anyone seeking the Lord. God can use any of us for His perfect purposes. He chose me to share His Good News daily. Thinking of those that have satisfied my thirst for in depth Bible study, I’ve been blessed. I was redeemed through faith in Jesus Christ.
