Acts 17:26-27 NIV 2011
From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from a any one of us.
The book of Acts, attributed to Luke, is what one commentator referred to as, “A bridge for the writings of the New Testament.” Luke stressed everyone was part of God’s family no matter where they resided. Isaiah 55:6, “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.” God’s plan is perfect leaving nothing to chance. Job 12:23, “He makes nations great, and destroys them; he enlarges nations, and disperses them.” God is sovereign and His plan will be accomplished.
After spending time this morning catching up, I finally sat down here at my desk to write. I know the world is tenuous but I also know God is in control. I need to seek Him daily through prayer and study. Writing is my way of remaining in His Word and staying in tune with where He’s guiding me. This world is temporal but God remains forever. Having a relationship with Him is the most important part of our lives. He’s sovereign and His plan will be accomplished.
Where is God leading us to serve Him today?
Letting Him lead us together,
