Proverbs 3:3-6 NIV 2011

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. The author of this Proverb echoed others of wisdom. He instructs the reader to wear love and faithfulness like a necklace by writing them on their heart. God sees the motives behind the actions of His people. Look to the Father for every need. 2 Corinthians 10:5b, “We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” Promises found in God’s Word persistently prompt the path of God’s people. Trusting in God alone brings direction to the believer’s path.

This day has been a day experiencing God’s direction. From my prompted quick thinking to what should have been a disaster was never meant to be. As I continued to follow the path He laid before me, each step opened to the next. A sweet friend was the frosting on the cake.  We grabbed a meal and talked about everything under the sun. I continue to walk with Him daily trusting The One who directs each step I take

How has trusting God directed your path today?

Faithfully following His direction,

S
