2 Corinthians 5:9-10 NIV 2011

So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body whether good or bad.

Paul offered the Corinthians hope for what was to come as he did the Colossians. Colossians 1:10, “so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.” The body begins to waste away and continues to death. At the judgment seat everyone will account for their witness. Acts 10:42, “He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead.” Christ will judge everyone.

In a lecture in the 1980’s my teaching leader said, “We will all need to give an account when we die.” writing that down and my thoughts were, “Wow, I never really thought about actually telling anyone around me my story.” The study of the Life and Letters of Paul was transformational for me. It was then that I carried the burden to share God’s Truth. My family, friends and others needed to know Jesus Christ. Christ will judge everyone.

How will we share Jesus daily?

Standing together before Jesus,

S
