John 3:16, Philippians 2:8 NIV 2011

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

And being found in appearance as a man, humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!

Jesus Christ is God’s love gift wrapped up in human skin. John 1:4, “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” God loved mankind so much that He sent Jesus Christ as the final blood sacrifice for the sins of all. Isaiah 9:6a, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given.” Romans 8:32, “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things.” Christ confirms God loves and understands mankind, gifting salvation to all believers.

Before getting up this morning, I spent time reflecting on all Christmas means to me. I read 2 Corinthians 5:1. “For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.” That’s the gift we’ve been given as followers of Jesus Christ. And it is the only gift that matters to me. God loves each of us so much that He gave us the gift of salvation, Jesus.

What will we celebrate daily?

Thank you God,
