Psalm 12:6-8 NIV 2011
And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times. You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race.
David began his prayer by asking God for help. Psalm 12:1, “Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore.” The world in which he lived was evil and the people were faithless. David knew God and His words were perfect. Psalm 18:30, “As for God, his way is perfect: God’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.” The Lord was his safe haven. Psalm 16:1, “Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.” The Lord protects His people. John 17:12a, “While I was with them, I protected them.” God’s True Word reveals His perpetual presence.
Today’s been a day filled with flaws. The fight we had planned on taking this morning filled up so our backup plan was put into play. Upon arrival at the condo, the wifi was working, or was it? Will finally got the old router to work and I went to work on getting my online meeting ready for BSF. Reflecting upon the day there was one constant, God was there in the midst of everything. Daily study of God’s True Word affirms He is perpetually present.
How was God’s presence revealed today?
God’s with us,
