And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.”
Paul’s letters consistently revealed the character of God. God freely gave more than needed by blessing His people. Ephesians 3:20, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power is at work within us.” God exceeded the needs of believers. Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Jesus called His followers to share what they were given with others. Quoting Psalm 112:9, Paul reminded the faithful at Corinth the righteous were secure. God meets and exceeds the needs of His righteous people.
Men and women of the Bible experienced God’s presence in their lives. He chose Esther to save the Jews in exile. Paul met the Lord on the road to Damascus and continued was present after that meeting. He’s been a vital part of my daily life from that moment I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. What some may call luck, I see as His Holy presence. Being His servant, He blesses me. God gives me more than I’ve ever asked.
