Psalm 20:4, 37:5, Proverbs 16:3 NIV 2011
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Psalms and Proverbs are great sources of comfort and offer direction to living godly lives. David knew the Lord would be with him in all that he did. Psalm 21:2, “You have granted him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips.” David trusted the Lord just as Peter trusted Him. Peter. 1Peter 5:7, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Commitment to the Lord leads to trust. Proverb 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” God guides those committed to Him.
I just received a text from the husband of a dear friend. She’s had another stroke and is back in the hospital. Both she and her husband know the Lord. I’m praying for wisdom for the doctors, peace for her and for him to persevere through it all by trusting the Lord. Walking with the Lord is the only way we get through times like this. I sent him 1 Peter 5:7. And will continue to pray for them. Trusting the Lord, I know God will guide them both.
How does God guide you daily?
Thankful we trust God,
