Joshua 1:6, 1 Corinthians 16:13, Ephesians 6:10 NIV 2011

After forty years of wandering in the wilderness, the children of Israel were standing at the edge of God’s Promised Land. The Lord reminded Joshua prior to entering the land promised they were His heirs, descendants of Abraham. He was to be strong and courageous. Paul reminded the Corinthians to be courageous and strong. Again Paul encouraged the church in Ephesus to be strong in the Lord because they received their strength from the Lord. Believers are called to be strong and courageous in the Lord.

My sister once stated God allowed challenges to strengthen us. My response, “I don’t want to get any stronger.” I can now laugh about that time. I’ve seen God calls me daily to be strong and courageous in Him.
Where is He calling you to be strong?
Strong in Him,
