Numbers 6:22-26 NIV 2011
The Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’”
The Lord spoke to Moses and gave him a priestly blessing to be used by Aaron and his sons. Scholars call it the Aaronic benediction. God carefully crafted the words. “The verses are progressively longer (in Hebrew the first verse is three words, the second has five and the third has seven).” Psalm 67:1, “May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine on us—“ God’s face shining upon them was the Shekinah glory, God’s presence. The face of God shines down on His faith-filled followers.

When the Light of Jesus Christ illuminates our lives, the rest of the world dims in “the Light of His glory and grace” daily. We then radiate the Lord to those in the dark. Thankful His Light shines in me
How is the Lord shining His light upon us today?
