Psalm 104:28, 139:10, Ezra 7:8-9 NIV 2011

When you give it to them, they gather it up, when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.

Even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

Ezra arrived in Jerusalem…for the gracious hand of his God was on him.

The psalter looked to the Lord because of who He is. Psalm 104:1, “Lord my God you are very great…” The Lord gave His people what they needed. Psalm 145:16, “You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.” David knew the Lord was with him. Psalm 23:3b, “He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” The Lord remained as Ezra returned to Jerusalem directing him to lead the temple’s rebuilding. God’s Hand provides, protects and guides His people.

After yesterday’s reminder that I’m here to serve, God showed me this morning a quick way to serve him. Walking up the hill making sure I got my stairs in, I noticed a man struggling to get up with his walker while his wife was trying to help. Both a bit older than me, God guided me to help. After an arrow prayer we got him up to his walker and turned around. Then he preceded his wife into the house to dress his small head wound. God’s Hand provides, protects and guides me daily.

Where have you seen God’s hand today?

God’s at work,

S
