Psalm 84:11-12 NIV 2011

For the Lord God is the sun and the shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.

The psalter yearned for fellowship with the Lord. Unable to worship in the temple, he poured his heart out to the One that is the light. Psalm 27:1, “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid.” He, like David, knew God was his shield. Psalm 3:3, “But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” The Lord’s words to Abraham, Genesis 17:1, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.” The Lord walks with those who walk with Him.

Looking from our seats at Century Link field in the distance stands Harborview Medical Center. Mixed emotions overflow as the Sea Hawks play football. More than ten years ago we followed a medical transport from SeaTac airport to that hospital praying the whole drive there. The young man we followed is now our son-in-law seated next to my husband. God heard our prayers, those of his family and many others. A life-altering event brought two families together in prayer. The Lord walked with us because we walk with Him.

What results when walking daily with Jesus?

Walking together with Him,

  1. Dear Sally,
    I have read. I have re-read.
If this doesn’t say SO MUCH.
AND? HUGE Reminder that GOD HAS THE PLAN.
And, just so much in between. Two Families One. And a new Family of little Redhead Darlings. I know we all get very emotional thinking of those Days. What a Gift .
And to hear Bri speak at Brad’s Wedding was pure Laughter, Joys, Emotions, and yes Tears.
Bless you , And thank you Always for the Daily. Always something to Ponder & Connect. ❌⭕️

    1. It almost took my breath away as I looked up and saw the hospital name in the distance. Sitting there next to Nicki and Brian sitting at the end of the row next to Will, it really was a “miracle for certain.”
I’m always humbled that God listened and heard all of our cries over those days, weeks and months answering each one. He is truly our God of miracles and oh how He listens.
Heard you just got home from Hawaii. Welcome home.
      Hugs and love!!!

  2. It’s still all too much to process the enormity of the miracle we were given. Especially when I look at our little grandchildren and the special family names that they chose for them. As I remind Brian of his comment 10yrs ago…”I hope I don’t miss the reason I am here”. And looking at him today and his beautiful family we don’t have to wonder why he is here.
Our family has been blessed with more than one miracle and we are all forever grateful.
    Thank you for the thoughts❤️

  3. You two say it All so Well. MIRACLES.
    How I love that Quote
Oh how I need to Trust .
    His Plan already in Place.
Be the Passenger. Not the Driver.
    Love to you Ladies♥️
