Psalm 67:1-2, 7a NIV 2011
May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us—so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.
May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.
The Psalter recorded a prayer asking for God’s blessing. Moses received a similar prayer. Numbers 6:24,”The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” God would bless His people that remained faithful. Psalm 46:10, “He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’” God called His people to witness. God blesses all who share the Good News.
A guest pastor asked us this morning, “How is your walk with Christ showing Him to others?” That made me begin to ponder what I am doing. There are four boxes
I’ve grabbed to fill for Samaritans Purse for Christmas. When all is said and done, I need to keep on doing what I’m doing while also being more aware of other ways I may need to share the Good News. Be willing to help where ever I’m needed in my church. God richly blesses me daily as I share His Good News.
How do we show Christ to others?
Blessed by God,
