John 1:16 Colossians 2:9-10 NIV 2011
Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
The fullness of God is found in His amazing grace. Ephesians 1:23, “which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” God’s fullness dwelled in Jesus Christ, God with skin on, as He walked on the earth. Colossians 1:19, “For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him.” Jesus is the head of the church. Ephesians 1:22, “And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be the head over everything for the church.” Believers are made complete in Jesus Christ.
After praying for God’s guidance, I returned today to a church I visited eighteen months ago. It’s much closer than my current church and a bit smaller. I know their statement of faith is grounded in God’s Word. After being greeted by both a deacon and the pastor I felt the Lord’s presence. The family sitting next to me had a son who passed out. He was treated by EMT’s and then transported to the hospital. I held their baby throughout the stressful situation. Through God’s grace, I’m made complete in Jesus Christ.
How are we made complete in Christ daily?
Brought to fullness together,
