Deuteronomy 4:29, Jeremiah 29:13 NIV 2011

But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and will all your soul.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Adam and Eve were created by God to have a relationship with Him. Genesis 1:27, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Moses reminded the Hebrews they needed to continually seek the Lord for guidance in all facets of their lives. King Solomon reminded the Israelites to seek God in 2 Chronicles 7:14. Isaiah and Jeremiah both told the people to seek the Lord, Isaiah 55:6. God is found when His people seek Him with all their heart.

What do you do to remind yourself of a task or important event in the future? My choice has always been to use either bright pink or little yellow sticky notes as reminders. There are several stuck to my file box. The older I get, the more I rely on them. I also use notes on my phone and my phone calendar to keep me organized. It’s wonderful to have God’s Word to remind us to seek Him when we are reading it. God’s word daily reminds me to seek Him with all my heart.

What is keeping us from seeking God?

Seeking God with all our heart,
