1 Samuel 10:7, Ecclesiastes 9:10 NIV 2011
Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do for God is with you.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning; nor knowledge or wisdom.
When Saul was first anointed King of Israel by Samuel, he listened obediently to his words from God. God called Samuel to explain Saul’s role as God’s leader of Israel. God was with him. Joshua 1:5, “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” God remains with those He calls to serve. Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the lord, not for human masters.” With God, all things are possible.
I remember my mother saying, “If you do something, do it well.” I take those words to heart when I do whatever task I’m given. Student teaching is one example. My cooperating teachers said after I finished the farm unit I wrote for first graders, “You did that well.” I smiled and thought of my mom. I’ve learned that my mom was actually using God’s Words to guide my daily path. It’s saved me many missteps in my journey. Before racing aimlessly ahead, I pause knowing all things are possible with God.
Where is God calling us today?
God makes everything possible,
