Romans 5:6-8 NIV 2011

You see at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were sinners, Christ died for us.

Believers receive a new relationship with God at salvation. Romans 5:1, “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” God’s timing is perfect. Galatians 4:4a&5a, “But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son…to redeem those under the law.” God’s gift of grace is freely given not because anyone deserves it. No one is good enough or righteous because all are sinners. Romans 3:25, “God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood…” No one is able to save him or herself. The cross of Christ reveals God’s immeasurable love.

Before coming to Christ there were times I was fearful when going to bed at night. That fear was gone and was replaced with God’s peace. When Mandi was diagnosed with a brain tumor, fear did not creep back into my life. I clung to the Father knowing He loved her more than we did. Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God…will guard your hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.” God’s immeasurable love gave me peace at the cross.

How do we experience His love daily?

Peacefully His together,

    1. Hope you are doing well my rental car driving partner…
Yes, that was a walk I would never wish on any friend. But God gave me the grace to walk with His help. He’s always with me, even in those rough places. I walked out the other side so much stronger.
