Romans 5:8, 1 John 3:16 NIV 2011

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.

Jesus Christ, God’s Son, was sent to save sinners. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son; that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Christ died for the sins of all. John 16:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” Jesus, the Good Shepherd laid down His life for all who give their lives to Him. John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” The love and grace of God are found through salvation in Jesus Christ.

Making crepes for my oldest grandson this morning was my love gift to start the day. It was his belated birthday request. A walk later with a sweet sister-in-Christ spread God’s love on us. I sacrificed sleep time to cook but spent time with the Lord as we walked. Sitting playing cards with the family frosted the day. God was involved in every minute of my day and His grace was visible in each and every moment. I experience God’s grace and love daily because Jesus saved me.

Where do we see God’s love each day?

Grateful God loves us,
