Acts 4:11-13 NIV 2011

“Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

Peter and John boldly went before the Sanhedrin to speak God’s Truth. They quoted Isaiah 28:16 and revealed Jesus fulfilled Isaiah’s prophesy of the cornerstone. Jesus quoted Psalm 118:22 in Matthew 21:42, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone…” Jesus is the cornerstone upon which salvation stands. John 14:6, “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” These “ordinary men” boldly approached the church leaders with Truth. Jesus is the Cornerstone that saves sinners.

Just like Peter and John, we’re given the opportunity daily to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Whether we choose to do that measures our walk with Him. I’ve never had the forum as they did with the Sanhedrin but sharing the Truth of Jesus can be done anywhere. I need to be willing to share whenever God leads me to share His Truth and Christ’s Light. Jesus is the Cornerstone of my faith and He saved me.

Where can others see Jesus’ Light shining?

Shining Jesus together,

S
