Psalm 19:1, 97:6, Isaiah 6:3 NIV2011
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all people see his glory.
And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”
David declared God’s glory in verse one of his Psalm, “for the director of music.” God created the skies on the second day. Genesis 1:8, “God called the vault ‘sky.’” The Israelites enjoyed all God created for them. They were called to live their lives according to God’s plan. Isaiah quoted the entities in 6:1, “I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne.” He repeated the word holy three times. One commentary stated, “The triple repetition underscores God’s infinite holiness.” John wrote of his vision of heaven. Revelation 4:8b, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.” God’s glory is indisputable.
As I walked this morning down the hill and back up, I saw God’s beauty laid before me. That quiet walk this morning under blue skies and cool temps was silenced only by the hum of a golf cart driving down the hill. Our Great God created this beautiful landscape for us to enjoy. As clouds doted the late afternoon sky, it’s possible a new weather pattern may come. God is Holy and worthy of my daily praise. His glory is visible everywhere.
Where is God’s glory visible today?
God is glorious,
