Deuteronomy 3:22, Isaiah 41:10, Matthew 28:20b
Do not be afraid of them, the Lord your God himself will fight for you.”
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
“And surely I am with you always to the end of the age.”
Moses offered assuring words to Joshua after Israel’s defeat of Sihon, King of Heshbon and Og, the king of Bashan. Whatever God’s people faced when they crossed into the Promised Land, God would fight for and remain with His people. After Isaiah’s words of judgment, the rest of his words are those of comfort. God is both powerful and personal. God is able to save His people. Jesus gave the Great Commission and offered words of encouragement and empowerment to His disciples. God is with us.
Deciding to sell our property in Sammamish a few years ago, it sold within a few days of listing for over asking price. God was definitely involved in that sale. When the aid car took my husband to the hospital more than two years ago, God was with me as my son-in-law drove me to the hospital. We decided to winter in Las Vegas, three months later we found a small condo just our size revealing God was with us. Scripture confirms God is with us daily.
How is God with you today?
