Deuteronomy 33:12, Isaiah 38:17 NIV 2011
About Benjamin he said:
“Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him,
for he shields him all day long,
and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders.”
Surely it was for my benefit
that I suffered such anguish.
In your love you kept me
from the pit of destruction;
you have put all my sins
behind your back.
Moses blesses the tribes as his final word to God’s people. God loves His people and showed it from the beginning to the end of His True Word. Psalm 60:5, “Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.” God continually delivers His people, Psalm 30:3, “You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit.” Through Jesus’ blood, sin is covered, John 3:16, “for God so loved the world that…” God is love.
There is nothing that makes my heart sing more than knowing God loves me. My first experience in Bible study took place at trail camp when I was sixteen. 1 Corinthians 13, the love chapter was a six-day study. I struggled with “the greatest of these is love.” I thought the greatest was faith. The camp director pointed to the basis for our faith; the love we have for the Lord. God is love and His love never fails.
How does God reveal His love daily?
Loved by the Lord,
