Jeremiah 29:11,13 NIV 2011

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

During the reign of the last five kings of Judah Jeremiah was called to give God’s Words to His people. The downward spiral for Judah followed a similar fate as that of Israel; they would be conquered. Isaiah 45:7, “I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster.” Isaiah used God’s Words revealing He was the architect of success and failure in their lives. Those who exalt themselves above the Lord will be humbled. God shows His amazing grace to those with hearts ready to repent. Each person is responsible for how they respond to God’s grace.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that God wants the very best for me. I need to be willing to place my complete trust and faith in Him for that to come to fruition. Seeking wisdom from His Word helps me understand my purpose. He is not a vending machine God giving us what we want when we want it. Rather He knows our heart, mind and soul. God wants us to share His Good News. I respond daily to His grace as I share His Truths here.

Where will we show God’s grace today?

Ready and willing,
